💉 Entry 026 // Needles in the Nest

Home didn’t feel like safety.
It felt like surviving in slow motion.

I learned to smile in the smoke.
To joke through the tension.
To call the sting of silence “peace.”
I made a nest out of needles and tried to nap in it.

Some of us grew up learning how to stay,
not because it was safe—but because escape wasn’t an option.
We became good at breathing in rooms that suffocated us.

Gospel 026:
Just because you survived it
doesn’t mean you have to stay there.

💉 Reflection:
What parts of your story still whisper that chaos is home?
