🕯️ Entry 005 // Still Loved the Wrong Way
Share
I wanted to love like a lighthouse—
steady, safe, seen from miles away.
But I kept falling in love like a house fire—
wild, consuming, beautiful, and gone.
Maybe I never learned how to be held
without burning the hands that reached for me.
The second gospel is this:
Love doesn’t always look like safety.
Sometimes it’s survival.
Reflection:
Have you ever mistaken destruction for passion? What would love look like if it didn’t hurt?
