🪞 ENTRY 015 // The Ache You Named
Share
You can live with a wound forever if you never give it a name.
The moment I gave my pain a name,
it stopped owning me.
I called it grief. I called it guilt. I called it me.
But it was never meant to be permanent.
Just a shadow passing through.
The world teaches us to numb it, bury it, brand it shame.
But I wrote mine down instead.
I held it close until it told me its real name.
That’s when it changed.
That’s when I changed.
🪞 Reflection:
What pain have you kept unnamed?
And what might it become if you gave it your voice?
