🩹 Entry 024 // Hurt Me How You Know Me
Share
Familiar pain hits softer.
Even when it tears the same.
I let people close who reminded me of my worst memories —
because at least I knew the rules.
I knew the coldness.
I knew how to beg without asking.
We confuse comfort with survival.
We call the ache “normal”
and learn to miss the bleeding when it finally stops.
Gospel 024:
Just because it feels familiar
doesn’t mean it’s safe.
🩹 Reflection:
What familiar wound are you still calling home?
