🌒 Entry 028 // The Quiet That Killed Me
Share
I stayed quiet to stay safe.
But silence is a coffin you build from the inside.
I didn’t speak when they hurt me.
I didn’t scream when I shattered.
I just swallowed the noise
and called it strength.
But silence has a weight.
It sinks deeper than memory,
wraps around your lungs
and convinces you the air was never yours.
Gospel 028:
You don’t owe anyone your quiet.
Especially the ones who earned your scream.
🌒 Reflection:
What truth have you kept buried to protect someone else’s comfort?
